About the Role The purpose of this role is to provide strategic vision and leadership in transforming and revolutionising waste and environmental related services for the Council in partnership with the service provider and other local authorities across Oxfordshire. This role will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of programme projects in partnership with other local authorities, ensuring successful outcomes and benefits are delivered. The role will provide strategic advice and guidance to the Council on procurement routes and alternative delivery opportunities for environmental and waste services. We seek an individual with a strong environmental background, excellent leadership skills, and proven ability to deliver transformational projects. You must demonstrate excellent collaborative and problem-solving skills to develop and maintain strong relationships across Oxfordshire, representing the Council on relevant waste-related boards and vehicles.
