Job Description
I am working with an Events business who are seeking a new individual to join the team to head up the Landowner Management team. The role will oversee all day-to-day relationships with Landowners, site teams and rights holders as well as playing an integral part in the delivery of summer live pop-up events.
You'll have two reports, with the opportunity to scale the team further.
You will be responsible for:
· As a head of department role you will work alongside the Senior Management team in the delivery of all events, commercial partnerships and activations.
· A predominantly office-based role reporting into the CCO, however there will be a need to be regularly meeting with Landowners, rights holders & site teams across the year, in particular London based clients.
· Leading and managing the LOAM team and help them to run their sectors
· Act as the internal knowledge hub for or all channels and events.
· Working closely with the Commercial Estate Director, creating knowledge hubs and being the internal point of contact for all other teams including Sales, Marketing, Operations and Tech.
· Take the lead with the external communications around all event/activation delivery, supporting your Account Managers in project delivery.
You will have:
· Experience of managing a team working across different skill sets and job roles, and collaborating with them to achieve desired results
· You will have experience in dealing with a variety of landowners, site teams, sporting rights holders & stakeholders.
· Strong communication skills to ensure all teams across the business understand each project & event.
· Excellent stakeholder management, being able to adapt your communication and management style to the situation
· Good written skills
· High attention to detail
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office essential
· Innovation and creativity, to create engaging brand opportunities across sites & locations for the sales team to take to market or deliver on briefs.
· Have a commercial mindset.
· You will have experience of working in the events space
· Understand the logistics that go into delivering projects across private and public realm.
· Understand what paperwork and qualifications are needed to be allowed to build and run an event on private and public realm.
· An understanding of health and safety matters
· The ability to manage and multi-task across different types of projects and events
· Experience of working with contractors.
· Have an interest in sport, a knowledge of when major sporting events are happening and an idea of who broadcasts these major events.
· Is calm under pressure and thinks laterally when facing challenges.
