Job Title: Stores Team Leader
Reporting To: Stores Supervisor

Shift: Continental Shift Pattern
2 weeks day shift then 2 weeks night shift
3 days on x 4 days off then 4 days on x 3 days off
Shifts start at 6AM and 6PM
Location: Lantmännen Unibake, Wallis Way, Eastcotts, Bedford, MK42 0PE
Main Purpose of Role:
To ensure products manufactured at Lantmännen Unibake UK are produced in accordance with high food safety standards, and compliance with legal, commercial, and moral obligations. The role is responsible for enforcing our standards in order to maintain our customers' trust and protecting the Lantmännen brand and our customers’ brand integrity. Your main responsibility is to ensure stock levels are maintained & transacted across the site. The role will require daily AX anomaly checks to ensure material variance control.
This is what you need to succeed:
You will be great at:
1. Ensuring materials are ready for production in a timely manner
2. Accurate, on-time delivery of stock including AX transactions of material to the correct line side locations
3. Monitoring the correct use of the AX ERP system to reflect movement of materials
4. Monitoring the integrity and traceability of all material transacted and maintaining accurate stock control
5. Monitoring accurate completion of process-controlled documentation (e.g., sieving & decanting)
6. Acting on non-compliance of specification (e.g., BBD, temperatures, damage) and ensuring all non-conforming materials are either rejected/reported or quarantined/duly labelled and reported accordingly with support of the Quality Department
7. Working in accordance with company quality and health and safety standards, procedures, and processes and compliance with the requirements of GMP
8. Adhering to and abiding by all relevant Health and Safety policies and procedures including use of PPE and ensuring that hazards are reported and ideas for the improvement of site safety are raised via safety walks, shift meetings, daily GMP checks & LIA system
9. Being actively involved in and promoting an environment of continuous improvement, flexibility, and teamwork
10. Working cross-functionally when required
11. Being available for training as and when required
12. Carrying out any other duties which may reasonably be expected/requested by supervisor & shift manager
You are:
1. Physically fit and good at practical, hands-on work
2. Able to work in ambient, chilled & frozen temperatures
3. Reliable, punctual, and good at following instructions
4. Enjoying working as part of a bigger team
5. Having a flexible ‘can do’ attitude
6. Hardworking and self-motivated
7. High customer focus (internal and external)
You have:
1. FLT license desirable but not a necessity as training will be provided
2. Knowledge of AX ERP desirable although training will be provided
3. Level 2 CIEH Award in Food Safety for Manufacturing (Level 3 advantageous)
