Support promotion of rotational programmes internally and externally to encourage recruitment. Work alongside Band 7 educators within the division and other mentors, devising action plans for novice nurses to teach complex chemotherapy regimens and skills and experienced nurses CNS skills. Attend steering group meetings to help support the development of the novice cancer nurse and aspiring CNS rotational programmes, setting goals, deliverables and benefits realisation to define project and resource requirements. Review, analyse and interpret ongoing individual project deliverables to assess the impact on achieving the wider programme objectives, and adjust plans accordingly. Make dynamic adjustments to project plans to ensure key milestones are met. Hold others to account, in line with agreed milestone plans and delivery targets, identifying risks and initial remedial actions. Report any longer term impact at strategic, organisational or operational levels to the Divisional Director of Nursing & AHPs and the Cancer Alliance Lead Nurse Review new or emerging national guidance and its impact on programme delivery. Deputise for Band 8A when applicable.
