The Recovery Hub is a 24 hour residential service for adults with enduring mental health and support needs. The service is a 9 bedded unit and is staffed 24 hours daily.
The position is a full time position at 37.5 hours per week so we can't accept part time positions at the moment. There are a variety of day shifts, waking night shifts and sleep in shifts, all of which will be expected to be covered in line with job role and responsibilities, to ensure safe and effective care, treatment and support.
At The Recovery Hub we support people to manage and maintain their mental health and wellbeing, and learn skills required to regain their independence and empower them to move on to more independent accommodation.

The successful Support Worker will:
Have excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence and maturity.
The ability to motivate yourself and others and be able to work openly and honestly as part of a team.
Have good values, showing compassion, kindness, empathy and understanding to the people they support.
Will be willing to engage in learning to support the development of themselves and those around them, be flexible and able to adapt to any situation and put the person at the centre of all that they do.
As Support Worker, your responsibilities will include:
1. To encourage and enable service users to make day-to-day choices and major life decisions, signposting as appropriate, and to develop a positive self-image and maintain good health.
2. To support service users to develop relationships to maintain contact with family and friends.
3. To provide service users with the agreed necessary support to maximise their independence and to develop social and life skills.
4. To support social inclusion for people within the local community.
