My exclusive client is a £120m t/o Service Contractor with Depot sites across the UK. The Central Accounts function is based at the main Operations hub in Milton Keynes, reporting to the Group HO in Staffordshire. This PE backed business is currently undergoing a period of significant internal re-structure to support its exciting growth strategy. An experienced hands-on Group Finance Manager is required for this initial 6 month Interim Contract. Key responsibilities will include: Re-engineer and further develop a range of basic accounts processes within the recently installed new ERP system. Support and develop more junior Accounts staff to ensure efficient transactional processing. Develop and improve the timely delivery of robust Financial/Management Reporting at local site and consolidated Group level. Month-end Reconciliations for Inter-Depot Re-charges. Year end Statutory Accounts, liaising with the Auditors Overall, to help bed in the newly integrated ERP system to establish a robust and efficient added value Accounts function. My client seeks a qualified accountant with strong financial accounting/reporting experience. You will also need strong Excel skills and proven ability to develop financial processes on an ERP systems platform. Day rate: To £400/professional day rate. Start date: By 1st December Definite prospects for this initial Interim role to become Permanent at the end of the 6 month Contract period if desired by both parties.
