We are seeking to appoint a Programme Manager for the Shropshire Bowel Cancer Screening Programme, with the experience, vision and values needed to run the programme and expand it in new directions.

The post holder will be responsible for leading and operationally managing the Shropshire Bowel Cancer Screening Programme (BCSP), policies, systems and administrative team; ensuring the provision of a full and comprehensive administration function to support the delivery of the programme across the screening sites (Royal Shrewsbury and Princess Royal Hospitals), in line with the Service Specification and Quality Assurance Standards.
The post holder will lead the Shropshire Bowel Cancer Screening Team to manage the service to maintain the Trust’s reputation as well as assisting in delivering the objectives of the NHS Bowel Cancer Screening Programme.
The responsibilities of the Programme Manager include professional, consultative, advisory, organisational, administrative and educational activities relevant to the delivery and development of the Bowel Cancer Screening Hub, and the Symptomatic FIT service for Integrated Care Boards (ICBs).
The post holder will represent the service at regional and national meetings and will be responsible and accountable for the provision of the service.
