About the role
Accurate and timely project accounting is central to supporting project managers and the management team in improving efficiency and ensuring the sustainability of OHE. It is also critical to the production of high-quality management and financial accounts that are compliant with accounting standards protecting the reputation of OHE and the ABPI. The information generated by the project accounting function supports the management team with managing day to day operations and the Chief Executive and OHE Board with strategic planning.
The outputs of the project accounting function must be accurate and timely to inspire confidence in the quality of the information provided and have maximum value within the organisation.
An initial hybrid job title of Business Executive/Project Cost Controller has been adopted with the intention of finalising this title during the interview stage.
About You
* Attention to detail
* Familiarity with CMAP or with similar platforms for CRM and project accounting
* Experience of working in a finance or accounting team or similar experience that has provided familiarity with the terms and concepts using in U.K. financial management
* Enthusiasm for delivering efficiency and continually improving systems and processes
* Strong project management and analytical skills
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to listen and effectively verbalise ideas
* Confidence with numbers and spreadsheets
* Good time management skills and can deal with conflicting priorities and a busy workload
* Takes a proactive approach and has ability to use initiative to pre-empt requests
* Capable of establishing good relationships and stakeholder management

Place of Work
This role is hybrid, meaning that you have flexibility to work remotely and to work from our London Bridge office. Candidates must however be located within an easy commute to London as there will be the requirement to work at our offices in London for certain staff meetings or events, and to collaborate with colleagues for some project activities.
