Amazin Care is an expanding Care Company operating in the London Borough of Bexley and Dartford Borough Council, Greenwich, Kent and we require Full Time Support Workers for our Supported Living Services and Outreach Services to actively promote and demonstrate Amazin Care's philosophy of care which encourages clients to do as much as possible for themselves.
WE have Supported Living homes in Erith and Gravesend as well as outreach services around North Kent and you could need to cover shifts in either

The Ideal Candidate
Level 2 Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential.
Candidates must be fluent in spoken English and Read and write in the English Language
If you have experience as a domiciliary carer or have worked in a Care Home that would be useful, but it’s not essential as full training will be given.
Considerate, kind-hearted and compassionate, you’ve a caring nature and a positive, sociable disposition.
You’re a superb communicator – you know exactly when you should listen and when you need to step in and help.
You understand what your client need and will do everything you can to make it happen.
Brilliant at multi-tasking, you have great attention to detail and always remain calm under pressure.
RESPONSIBILITIES include:
In accordance with the individual care plan for a client;
a. Assist in daily care of the client helping them with dressing/undressing, washing, bathing and personal hygiene.
b. Help clients with mobility problems and other physical disabilities (e.g. incontinence) with the use of aids, and caring for the aids used where appropriate.
c. Help clients to participate in their social activities, helping to promote their self-esteem and physical and mental wellbeing. To accompany clients on visits out as required.
d. Help clients with the preparation and presentation of food. Help with eating and drinking as required. Preparing light meals and snacks as required.
e. Taking into account health and safety (COSHH), make and change beds, assist with light domestic duties such as tidying, dusting, polishing and cleaning windows and emptying commodes as required.
f. To undertake laundry as required.
g. In accordance with the care plan and after appropriate training, assist clients with the administration of medications.
Other duties as required
You will be required to do morning and Evening Shifts, Could be some Sleepin or waking night Shifts and possible long shifts to cover staff absences and can sometimes be out reach collecting clients from their own home and taking them out for the day
