Equans is looking for an Industrial Operative to join our team in EDF Hinkley Point B, Bridgwater, TA5 1UD on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £25,376.00 per annum and benefits package.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 07:00 to 15:30 – Friday 07:00 to 12:30
Please note this role includes CTC clearance, therefore, ability to pass is essential.
What will you deliver?
* Undertake day to day duties, associated with an industrial environment. This may include manual labouring, industrial cleaning, operating various equipment, carrying out confined space works, fire watching duties, pumping of sumps, assisting various skilled teams, driving and such as grass cutting, in accordance with Company standards.
* Carry out work safely and efficiently, as directed by Supervisor/Team Leader.
* Ensure all equipment used is done so to Company and/or manufacturers standards.

Who are we looking for?
* Experience in the Industrial Field Preferred.
* Ideally, experience of heavy-duty cleaning and COSHH awareness are preferred, however, on-the-job training will be provided for those successful candidates with limited experience.
* An intermediate knowledge of health and safety requirements in a similar environment.
* EDF / EQUANS Training will be required.
