ISI is seeking talented Sanitary Tube and Pipe Welders for the Food, Beverage, and Pharmaceutical Industries, as well as Industrial Stainless and Carbon Steel pipe welders.
All welders are required to pass a 6G Stainless tube test, as well as a 6G Stainless and Carbon Pipe weld test. TIG weld process is required.
The Pipe Welder is responsible for welding pipe and tube systems mainly for the Food & Beverage and Pharmaceutical industries in our shop in Emigsville, PA. This position requires someone with extensive sanitary process piping experience. A successful candidate must have the ability to travel for extended periods of time, work weekends, and overtime as necessary.
Applicants should live in the York/Harrisburg/Allentown/Lancaster area and be willing to travel.
Qualifications
* Extensive experience with Pipe Welding, minimum 5 years
* Have some mechanical skills and know how to read blueprints
* Provide your own hand tools (the tools of the trade)
* Fabricate tanks and structural supports, and weld high pressure lines and pressure vessels
* Perform installations or replacements of piping systems, and related equipment
* Rigging experience is a plus
* Pass a 6G weld test
* Have a current valid driver’s license, with a safe driving record
* Pass a drug screen and background check
Success Criteria & Measurement
* Performs all work in a timely manner as designated by the Pipe Supervisor/Project Manager
* Accurately completes projects, paperwork, and timesheets, submitting items as required
* Safely uses all equipment, such as welding guns, tools, overhead cranes, forklifts, etc.
* Effectively communicates with the Pipe Supervisor/Project Manager, Customers, and other team members verbally, through text, or email
* Works with limited supervision and in a clean and organized manner
* Maintains professional conduct at all times, particularly when at customer sites
