Responsibilities
* Daily management of the supplier portfolio using existing business tools and future digitisation means.
* Anticipation of risks and drive mitigation actions.
* Demand and forecast control.
* Communicate effectively with internal customers, team colleagues, and external suppliers.
* Supply chain prioritisation.
* Challenge supplier performance where appropriate.
* Lead and drive supplier recoveries.
* Understand and define the optimal ordering characteristics and strategy.
* Specify and use process automation.
* Utilize data management tools to inform decisions in the supply chain.
* Manage order book and maintain MRP master data.
* Coordinate supplier working parties.
* Interact transnationally with suppliers (remotely and/or in person) and operate proactively within a procurement community as a partner to the Supply Chain Quality Manager and Commercial Buyer.
* Serve as the first point of contact for supply chain queries from operations.
* Own and optimise procured goods stock.
* Support supply chain and logistics transformation projects.
Skills and Experience
* Solid experience in supply chain, procurement, manufacturing engineering, or design engineering.
* Experience with digital solutions/tools deployment.
* Experience working transnationally.
* MRP expertise and SAP experience in a manufacturing environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Good teamwork ethic.
* Proficiency in English negotiation skills.
* Project management and LEAN methodology experience.
* Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business.
* Willingness to travel and flexibility.
