We have recently formed an Influencing team that sits within the Trust’s Funding & Influencing team. The Influencing team plays an integral part in the development and delivery of our social change work which comprises six programmes: Access to Money Advice, Access to Nature, Digital Inclusion, Empowered Employers, Short Breaks, and Transport.
We are looking for an Influencing and Learning Coordinator. This is a newly created role that will work with our Learning Manager and Social Change Manager at our offices in Overton House in Cheltenham, to support the delivery of the influencing activities within our programmes.
This is a 12-month fixed term contract, but there may be scope for the role to become permanent as the work of the team develops. The ideal candidate will have experience of building relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, have excellent organisational skills and be able to adapt to changing contexts.

* Part Time (30 hours per week over 5 days) Mon-Fri. Pro rata Salary £25,747
We offer a flexible start between 8am and 9.30am Monday to Friday. This position is based in our office in central Cheltenham with occasional opportunities for home working.
Summary of key duties:
1. Meeting Management: Arranging meeting venues and meetings, organising catering, and communicating with external stakeholders. Attendance at meetings to take notes, maintaining a calendar of external opportunities, events and networks that the Trust is invited to, recording what is attended, by whom, why and any follow-up. Assisting in the development and maintenance of a Trust-wide stakeholder map to support the Trust’s influencing work.
2. External Learning Events: Work with the Learning Manager to organise, schedule and coordinate learning activities for external stakeholders. Attendance at learning events to take notes, booking facilitators and agencies to deliver learning activities, scoping and booking venues and catering for learning activities, and providing administrative support and liaising with people attending learning activities.
3. Change Programme Coordination and Administration: Work with the Social Change Manager to plan, prepare and circulate agendas ahead of change programme meetings, assisting in preparation of supporting papers and materials.
4. Collation and dissemination of intelligence and learning: Support the collation of intelligence and learning for analysis and contribution to evidence-based decision-making and influencing activity. Work collaboratively with the Marketing and Communications Team and the Internal Communications Manager to share stories and information about the Trust’s social change work, both internally and externally.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
* Administration experience
* Experience of co-ordinating activities within projects and programmes
* Experience of supporting and organising small- and medium-scale activities such as meetings, workshops and events, working with a wide range of stakeholders
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, including high-level written communication skills
* Ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
* Highly organised with project co-ordination skills
* Ability to work in a flexible and adaptable way to contribute to the development of the Influencing function and the Trust’s long-term strategic goals (essential)
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Outlook and Word.
