About The Opportunity
Are you experienced within SSOW Planner within Possession Management? TES 2000 has a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established rail safety company as a SSOW Planner within our brand new Possession Management Department in Sussex. As our SSOW Planner, you will plan the work in accordance with the priorities set by the Responsible Manager within a newly established team of rail professionals, to manage requirements associated with the new contract for the Sussex region. This role is integral to the success of our new contract with Network Rail. Please note, prior experience within Possession Management frameworks is essential.

About You
The ideal SSOW Planner will:
* Hold the following competencies: SSOWP/PTS/COSS/IWA/PS
* Have in-depth knowledge of Network Rail rules and regulations
* In-depth knowledge of possession requirements/frameworks and 019 standard
* Possess strong knowledge of possession and line block requirements
* Understand risk management
* Have strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
The SSOW Planner's typical day will include:
* Safe System of Work (SSOW) planning and duties
* Plan the work in accordance with the priorities set by the Responsible Manager
* Send out SSOW packs
* Re-plan any SSOW packs that have been rejected
* Assist with resource planning and general admin duties
* Complete site visits to gain geographical knowledge on areas that are not familiar
