Our client is currently looking for a multi-skilled maintenance technician.
The purpose of the role is to service, repair, and maintain plant and machines within the company in a safe and efficient manner to minimize delays in production and avoid unsafe plant conditions.
Job Duties:
1. Perform a variety of routine maintenance, fault finding, and repair work on plant equipment including pumps, fans, gear boxes, shafts, water lines, valves, belts, motors, electrical panels, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electronic control systems.
2. Install and commission plant and machinery.
3. Carry out machine upgrades and development in conjunction with the Production Department.
4. Organize and prioritize routine jobs liaising with the production planner and cell leaders according to the production plan.
5. Ensure that breakdown logs are kept and are accurate for data analysis purposes.
6. Conduct daily maintenance checks (TPM) on allocated machinery and report major maintenance issues.
7. Ensure adequate supplies are carried for routine work and for common identified failure modes.
8. Ensure critical spares are identified and adequate supplies are maintained.
9. Maintain the preventative maintenance plan with weekly scheduled and targeted checks.
10. PAT testing/in-service Inspection Testing of Electrical Equipment maintaining records and schedule.
Person Specification:
1. Time served multi-skilled maintenance technician but mechanically biased.
2. 18th Edition.
3. PAT testing experience.
Hours of Operation:
Monday - Thursday 07:00 - 16:45 and shift work which is 7am - 7pm.
This is a permanent position.
