The role of a Senior Accountant is to take care of a portfolio of clients, working with the team to deliver a compliant, professional, and high-quality service. As a Senior Accountant, you will be a ‘go to’ person and will work closely with management to ensure that service delivery is the best it can be, looking for ways to improve and enhance our clients’ journey. * Training junior members of the team.
* Communicating with clients, both written and verbally.
* Managing inbound and outbound post accordingly.
* Ensuring clients are invoiced at the right time for any additional work.
* Tax planning with clients and ensuring they are registered for relevant taxes with HMRC.
* Maintaining accurate Companies House records for clients, ensuring forms are completed and filed.

* Covering for colleagues during illness or holidays, including email cover for clients.
* Training new starters and accountants in the team.
* Supporting and covering the Team Manager and other team members during periods of absence.
