About the School – Food Technology Teacher – Essex, Chigwell
This is a brand new school for 150 students from age 5 – 19 years old. This is an SEN school for children with Autistic spectrum disorder. There is a large sports hall with changing facilities and a number of individual spaces used for therapeutic intervention and bespoke support. The School benefits from extensive outdoor space including a large courtyard and individual playgrounds for both primary and secondary. The school is easily accessible by public transport and located on the central line. The school also offers transportation from Chigwell and Woodford stations. The school has been graded as “Good” by Ofsted in 2023 with outstanding features in behaviour and leadership. The school has been open for 3 years and is thriving since September 2022. About the Role – Food Technology Teacher – Essex, Chigwell
This school is looking for an experienced Food Technology Teacher to join their successful department. The school is open to any specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics, but the ability to teach all Food Technology is beneficial. You should have at least 1 year of experience teaching Food Technology in UK schools, following the British curriculum. The school will consider an ECT showing excellent progress during teacher training. A degree in Food Technology is preferable as well as teaching qualifications in the subject.
