Salary: Starting Salary is £25,992 (Level one) rising to £26,835 (Level 3). This is pro rata for part-time hours and equates to £13.47 per hour.
About the Role: Nottingham City Council Adult Social Care is looking for hardworking, caring, and reliable individuals to join our Homecare teams. We have a range of shift patterns available, with guaranteed contracted hours. Hours will be worked according to a rota, including weekend work. A valid driving licence and access to your own vehicle are essential for this role.

Social Care Reablement is a specialist Homecare team that works across the city to provide support to citizens in their own homes, focusing on acute, short-term care for citizens recently discharged from Hospital or other services. The teams encourage independence and choice for citizens, enhancing their wellbeing through personalized care and community support.
The ideal candidate will have:
1. Experience of undertaking personal care tasks (e.g., assisting with washing, bathing, dressing, feeding, and using the toilet) to a high standard in a respectful and caring manner;
2. Ability to assess social care and health needs and develop, implement, maintain, and update Person Centred Care Plans;
3. Knowledge and understanding of the rights, needs, and feelings of vulnerable adults from diverse social and cultural backgrounds;
4. Ability to administer medication in line with departmental policies and procedures.

Additional Requirements:
- This post is covered by the statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) (English Language Requirement for public sector workers), and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for the role.
