Finegreen are currently working with a leading healthcare provider, the organisation has a mixture of primary and secondary care facilities across the UK, this role is based at their Birmingham Hospital site. \nThe client is looking for a specialist engineer who brings enthusiasm and energy into this new role for the organisation. Ideally you will have experience within a healthcare setting or similar environment currently.
\nYou will be making sure that standards of patient care are consistently applied and maintained, as well as maintaining and enhancing customer service and satisfaction.\n \nAs part of the role, you will promote and safeguard the wellbeing and interests of all patients, employees and visitors on site.\n \nResponsibilities:\n\nTo manage the timely completion of work orders for planned and reactive maintenance, specialist sub-contract work and remedial work.\nProvide routine and specialised engineering maintenance and breakdown support to the hospital site;\nProvide technical, health, safety and environmental support & assistance as required.\nProvide training, mentoring and hands-on assistance to any additional mobile based Technicians or Engineering Assistants.\nProvide support and advice to the management team as required.\nDemonstrate a can-do attitude based on engineering standards in an environment of open and honest integrity.\nHelp build and develop a strong team culture from day one.\nYou comply with all relevant internal training.\nWhat we will look for in you:\n\nCSCS Card at appropriate level of qualification.\nCity& Guilds Part 3, ONC, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferably in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.\nTime served apprenticeship in a Mechanical or Electrical biased discipline essential\nComprehensive understanding of Health and Safety guidelines.\nUnderstanding of L8 Legionella ACOP within Hospital buildings\nA high level of organisation and time management skills in situations where there are sometimes conflicting priorities.\nDemonstrable fault finding techniques and ability to read detailed plans.\nIf you are interested in the role, please contact Donna Larder on (phone number removed) or send your CV to (url removed)
