We are looking for an Assistant Registrar (Loans) to join our team. The role is full time and permanent. You'll be working 36 hours per week.
Working on a national programme, you can be based in one of our regional office locations (York, Bristol, Swindon, London) along with some hybrid working. There will be travel required to other English Heritage offices and sites nationally.
This is a great opportunity for you to use your experience to support English Heritage's Collections Curatorial team's storytelling across the National Collection as part of the national Registrars Team. You will support the Registrar (Loans) to deliver the high standard of loans programme both into and out of English Heritage, maintain coverage and administer claims under the Government Indemnity Scheme (GIS) and commercial insurance policies, and ensure that all records relating to loans are managed in line with national and international standards. You will work closely with colleagues across curatorial disciplines and in other English Heritage directorates and be a contact for loan-related enquiries within the Registrar's Team.
