This role would suit a highly experienced Caretaker/Premises Assist who is aiming to elevate their career.
Main duties:
Operational Management of School Sites and Grounds: Ensure Trust school sites and grounds are maintained in a clean, safe, and secure condition for both daily and extended school activities.
Assisting in Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Facilities Manager, senior leadership, and other stakeholders to implement the Trust’s estates vision, contributing to the development and execution of strategic plans that align with school objectives.
Health and Safety Coordination: Ensure health and safety compliance across all school sites, supporting statutory inspections and implementing policies to maintain a safe environment.
Premises and Cleaning Staff Oversight: Provide line management and support to premises staff, including induction, training, and performance monitoring.
Financial and Resource Management: Assist in managing relevant budgets, focusing on best value through effective procurement and resource management.
