Vivienne Westwood is looking for a Junior Buyer to join the Buying Team in the Conduit Street Office on a Full-time basis. The purpose is to strategically maximise sales and profit opportunities to drive performance within the business. As JB you will be responsible for managing the Jewellery and Soft Accessories lines and providing full support to the Senior Buyer and Head of Buying. You will also be managing and developing the Assistant Buyer and Buying Admin Assistant.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Assists Senior Buyer with budgets, schedules, and draft orders
2. Prepares quarterly reorders of bestsellers based on analysis
3. Manages orders, keeping records updated with AB/BAA support
4. Prepares reports and meeting materials, adding input as needed
5. Monitors sales, reports issues, and suggests improvements
6. Collaborates with merchandisers and designers, sharing market insights and trends
7. Recommends actions to optimise stock and sales
8. Analyses sell-through to advise on open-to-buy
9. Shares product insights across the business
10. Tracks competitor trends
11. Contributes to seasonal reviews and strategies.
12. Mentors AB and BAA
13. Responds to priority emails promptly
14. Resolves data discrepancies with departments
15. Monitors stock deliveries and website uploads
16. Flags online merchandising issues
17. Organises UK shop visits
18. Tracks and reviews pricing on lines
