* This role will see you take the lead in a multifaceted position that encompasses sales, marketing, and revenue management across a region of diverse hotels. The primary objective of this role will be to drive revenue growth while maintaining a focus on profitability and guest satisfaction.
* You'll use your established market knowledge to analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement across the region
* With the commercial teams across the hotels in your region having a dotted line reporting into this role, you'll focus on driving performance at hotel level and building and maintaining strong relationships with key accounts and other stakeholders to increase market share and revenue and demonstrate best practice to the hotels.
* You'll also play a key role in key stakeholder relationships. Providing resources and reporting, driving key business decisions and working alongside the VP of Operations as a key communication touchpoint with our owners
* With one eye on process improvement across the region you'll work closely with the regional team of experts to continuously evaluate and improve ways of working to increase efficiency and collaborate with the wider Aimbridge team to drive profitability and performance
What do we need from you?
* Financial acumen: You'll utilise your extensive knowledge to manage budgets, create financial projections, and optimise revenue. With the ability to analyse financial data, to develop accurate forecasts, and to make data-driven decisions.
* Leadership: You'll be effective leader who can motivate and inspire a team of commercial professionals across our hotels, you'll have the ability to communicate effectively and to provide feedback and coaching. You'll work with the regional team to create a culture of high performance and to foster collaboration and teamwork.
* Strategic thinking: You'll be able to think strategically and develop effective plans that align with our hotel's goals and objectives, with the ability to analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities and to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
* Relationship-building: With our on-site commercial teams having a dotted line reporting into this position, you'll need to have excellent relationship-building skills and be able to build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, agents, and other stakeholders.
* Innovation: The Director of Commercial must be innovative, creative, and be able to work across new and effective sales and marketing strategies. You'll have the ability to think outside the box to develop solutions to cement Aimbridge's place as a global leader in hospitality and drive performance across our hotels.
