Job Title: KS2 SEN Outreach Tutor Location: Greys, Essex, East of England Job Type: Temporary, Part-Time Salary: £20 - £30 Per hour Primary Industry: Education and Training Job Duties: Provide one-to-one support to Key Stage 2 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in an outreach setting Develop and implement individualised education plans based on students' needs and goals Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to support students' academic and personal development Monitor and track student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with children with SEN Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field Experience: At least 2 years of experience working with SEN students Demonstrated success in supporting students' academic and personal growth Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of SEN educational strategies and best practises Ability to create engaging and inclusive learning environments Strong assessment and evaluation skills Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs Additional training in specific SEN areas (e.g. autism, dyslexia) Working Conditions: Part-Time hours, flexible schedule Work primarily in an outreach setting, visiting students' homes or schools Collaborative work with teachers, parents, and external professionals All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
