To support the Divisional Management Team by the collection and analysis of performance data in order to inform decision making. This will require liaising with various staff disciplines to organise additional capacity to meet the demands placed on the Division.
Main duties of the job
1. Support the SLM and lead when appropriate on service improvement projects.
2. Complete monthly staff SVL/sickness report, ensuring accuracy of staff contracts & staff hours worked. Report inaccuracies and ensure completion of contractual change forms with appropriate management and financial approval.
3. Ensure live rosters are maintained within Critical Care via Electronic Rostering database for in excess of 200 staff. Have access to undertake a high level of administration within the system including editing of contracts, new starters and leavers. Ensure the team complete changes to the off duty by amending shifts worked.
4. Manage the process for inputting and approving bank/agency timesheets ensuring timely approval of payments for bank worked and provide evidence and assurance of shifts worked.
5. Monitor agency/bank usage via a database, reported to Unit and Divisional Managers.
6. Ensure the Admin Team provide assistance in the management of the unit annual leave database, ensuring annual leave/time owing hours owed are accurate for leavers, and recovered/paid via Trust Payroll services. Demonstrate an up to date and accurate record of information for leavers with a clear audit trail.
7. Any other duties at the request of the SLM within the scope of the post.
