We are seeking skilled and reliable Traffic Marshalls to join our construction team at Hinkley Point C.

Location: Somerset, Bridgwater
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Salary: Up to £20.05 per hour based on experience (Overtime paid at £40.10 per hour)
19% shift uplift, earning up to £401 per day
Shift Pattern: 7/3/7/4 Shift Pattern, (16:30 - 03:00) / (07:30 - 18:00)
Bonus: Up to 10% of total earnings after the qualifying period
What will you be responsible for?
As a Traffic Marshall, you'll be working within the Hinkley Point C team in Somerset. You will be responsible for managing traffic flows on site and ensure the safety of both the public and site workers.
Your day to day will include:
* Manage traffic on and around construction sites, ensuring vehicles are directed safely and efficiently.
* Set up traffic management signage and barriers in compliance with local regulations.
* Work closely with site supervisors, engineers, and contractors to ensure that traffic flow is maintained without disruptions.
* Ensure the safety of all site workers and the public by following safety protocols.
* Maintain clear communication with site management, emergency services, and local authorities as needed.
* Perform routine checks on traffic management equipment and report any faults.
What are we looking for?
This role of Traffic Marshall is great for you if:
* Valid Traffic Marshal certifications (CSCS, Health and Safety, CPCS)
* Previous experience in traffic management or as a Traffic Marshall, preferably in a construction environment.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively direct vehicles and personnel.
* Knowledge of traffic management regulations and best practices.
