22.5 hours per week - Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays 10.30 - 6.30
Sanctuary Supported Living is delighted to be recruiting for a Female Project Worker at our Domestic Abuse Service in Sheffield.

The role of Project Worker will include:
* Providing support to encourage our customers who have been a victim of domestic abuse to maximise their own potential and independence.
* Regularly assessing the needs of clients by writing and updating support plans, and signposting access to education, training, and employment.
* Assisting clients with managing finances and welfare benefits.
* Encouraging social inclusion and helping clients to build their confidence, resilience, and self-esteem.
* Working with statutory and non-statutory agencies on behalf of the clients and actively encouraging choice and involvement, or acting as an advocate when required.
* Promoting safe working practices by undertaking risk assessments within legislative frameworks.
Skills and experiences:
* You will have previous experience in a role supporting victims of domestic abuse or a background gained in a supported living environment in a project worker capacity.
* Sound knowledge of housing management including voids and arrears management.
* Good understanding of occupancy agreements.
* The ability to react effectively under pressure.
* The ability to work on your own initiative and ability to source innovative solutions to problems.
* You will be empathetic and non-judgmental with good interpersonal and customer care skills.
* NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care, or willing to work towards, is essential.
