First Military Recruitment is proudly working in partnership with a fantastic business who are looking to recruit a Service Coordinator on a permanent basis due to growth to be based in one of their main offices in Southampton.
The Service (Logistics and Remedial) Coordinator is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support. This role plays a crucial role in scheduling service technicians’ workload and support the coordination of customers’ needs and expectations. The goal is to maximize service technician productivity and enhance the overall customer experience and improve operational processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. A proactive approach on dealing with high volume incoming calls.
2. Schedule technician work orders for quoted and warranty attendance.
3. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted point of contact.
4. Collaboration with Service, Sales, and Operations Team: Establish strong communication channels to share key customer insights.
5. Ensure invoices are processed timely, within approval and target limits that have been agreed across departments.
6. Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on completed invoiced work orders.
7. Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with customers through exceptional customer service.
8. Support service technicians with delivery and collections of refrigerants, parts, site clearance, water sample returns, van stock management and ensure appropriate team cover at customer sites.
9. Communications with supervisors, technician, and customers on updates and to drive continuous improvement.
Skills and Qualifications:
10. Proven experience in a customer care or service support role.
11. Strong knowledge of customer service principles.
12. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate technicians to deliver customer experiences.
13. Effective communication skills.
14. Knowledge of processing invoices and Purchase Orders within levels of authority limits.
15. Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
16. Proficiency in using customer service software, and MS Office Suite.
17. Knowledge of manufacturing industry an advantage.
18. People and communication skills with a positive mindset.
19. Able to work with minimal supervision.
20. Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 DOE
