It’s an inspiring time to join the team Job Responsibilities Leading and managing the accounts payable team to ensure the accurate and timely processing of purchase orders, supplier invoices, credit notes, staff expense claims, payments, and supplier queries. Oversee the full accounts payable cycle, from receipt of supplier invoices through to payment and reconciliation of accounts. Ensure proper coding and classification of purchases in line with the company’s chart of accounts. Monitor and manage vendor relationships, including dispute resolution and ensuring accurate payment terms are adhered to. Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and relevant regulatory requirements. Oversee the expense management side from an admin perspective Monitor, manage and maintain the vendor accounts together with the Vendor Manager Prepare and maintain monthly accounts payable reports, aged payable reports, open bills, and any relevant KPIs. Work closely with other departments across the wider business. Manage the reconciliation of AP accounts, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies and accurate reporting. Assist with year-end audit preparation and liaise with auditors, Continuously identify opportunities to streamline accounts payable processes. Supervise and mentor junior AP staff, providing training and professional development opportunities. Job Requirement Ideally educated to degree level. Previous experience in AP/AR. Experience with Excel; NetSuite experience advantageous. Experience of Expense Management systems is required. High attention to detail is vital as is good numerical skills, accuracy and analytical skills. Strong self-management and motivational skills to learn and deliver on key responsibilities. Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively across different teams. Good communication skills, ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner.
