We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant 3-form entry school, supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs and challenging behaviour.
About the Role:
Provide one-to-one and group support for students with SEMH and challenging behaviour.
Assist in the delivery of tailored learning plans to help students reach their full potential.
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to ensure the effective inclusion of all students.
Help create a positive, structured, and nurturing learning environment.
Support students in developing social skills and emotional regulation.
Key Responsibilities:
Support students in both classroom and pastoral settings.
Promote positive behaviour management strategies.
Help students build confidence and resilience through tailored interventions.
Monitor and track students' progress and report to the class teacher.
Assist with the delivery of lessons and engage students in learning activities.
About You:
A graduate or someone with experience working with children (particularly those with SEMH and challenging behaviour) is ideal, but not essential.
