We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our team at the Courtyard by Marriott Glasgow SEC. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading a section and working closely with our chefs to deliver exceptional culinary experiences to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a section of the kitchen and oversee the preparation and cooking of dishes to the highest standards.
* Collaborate with the Head Chef and other kitchen team members to ensure seamless service and high-quality food.
* Monitor inventory and manage stock levels to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
* Develop and implement new recipes and menu ideas to enhance the dining experience.
* Provide guidance and support to junior team members to help them develop their skills and confidence.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chef de Partie in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant environment.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
* Excellent culinary skills, with a passion for creativity and innovation.
* Ability to work under pressure and maintain a high level of professionalism in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
* Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
