Job Title : Quality Inspector (Final Acceptance) Reporting To: Technical Operations, Quality Control Work Schedule: Onsite – Wolverhampton, GBR Moog Aircraft Group Wolverhampton is looking for a Quality Inspector (Final Acceptance) who will be pivotal in ensuring that all Supplied, Manufactured, and Assembled parts meet Moog’s stringent quality standards. This role involves rigorous inspection and continuous quality monitoring within Moog Wolverhampton Limited. We are open to considering applications from trainees who demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and grow within the role. Training and development opportunities will be provided to help you achieve the necessary qualifications and experience. Key Responsibilities Assess the acceptability of parts and assemblies based on dimensional and visual criteria. Maintain the highest quality of outgoing product in line with operational commitments. Obtain qualifications to act as a ‘Delegated Inspector’ where necessary. Interface with various digital systems to provide detailed inspection results. Support all areas of inspection, including final acceptance, receiving, and in-process. Interpret Engineering Drawings and utilize a variety of standard inspection equipment. Experience with CMMs is advantageous. A successful candidate will: Have extensive experience with inspection and measuring equipment. Be proficient in reading and understanding Engineering drawings. Possess an HNC or equivalent in Engineering, or extensive experience in an Aerospace Quality organization. Additional Requirements: Excellent communication skills at all levels. Experience with AS9100 Aerospace Quality System. Knowledge of SAP and Solumina business systems is ideal. Must be adaptable to shift patterns as required by the Quality Inspection Manager. Security Clearance Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
