This role is responsible for planning of the production through the factory to meet customer requirements whilst aiming for maximum efficiency in relation to the use of machinery, raw materials and labour. The route to success in this role will be through strong understanding of factory production capabilities and critically strong working relationships with all relevant internal departments and external customers. Salary Range: £28,000 - £32,000 per year Woking hours: 6am-6pm Thur-Sat Through regular contact, liaise closely with the Planning Manager and site operations management in order to enable effective delivery of the strategy and maximise commercial returns for the site. To maintain a Daily / Weekly the production plan ensuring that all customers orders fulfilled. To liaise with the raw material planner to ensure that the necessary raw material is available on site to meet the daily / weekly production plan To produce & publish a daily production schedule and any daily or weekend priorities To balance finished goods stock with all stock holding sites on a daily basis Develop close working relationship with production departments to ensure that all specifications are met. Achieve customer service targets, as defined by the Planning Manager, to agreed timescales Record and report on customer service levels Ensure maximum efficiency is achieved through production departments in relation to the use of machinery and raw materials. Challenge areas for improvement. Ensure stock in place to meet daily plans through alignment of the process and slicing plans. Review daily plan v stocks and orders, issue revision as required and inform production of any changes Analyse actual v plan on a daily and weekly basis and report on variances.
