Role Mission:
We are seeking a results-driven Mid-Market Sales Manager to drive revenue growth, lead a team of sales professionals, and expand our footprint within the mid-market segment. This role requires a motivated sales leader with a deep understanding of the RegTech landscape, a strong track record in B2B sales, and experience managing and developing high-performing sales teams. You will be responsible for overseeing the full sales cycle, coaching and mentoring your team, and ensuring customers see the value of our solutions.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and Development
* Lead, mentor, and coach a team of mid-market sales executives, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous development.
* Support team members in deal strategy, negotiation, and overcoming challenges to drive consistent success.
Sales Execution and Strategy
* Own and oversee the full sales cycle within the mid-market segment, ensuring your team effectively executes prospecting, qualifying, presenting, negotiating, and closing deals.
* Develop and implement sales strategies that drive revenue growth and increase market share.
* Partner with senior leadership to refine and scale best practices for mid-market sales execution.
Pipeline and Performance Management
* Ensure the team maintains a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities, leveraging CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) for visibility and accuracy.
* Monitor individual and team performance metrics, adjusting strategies as needed to meet or exceed sales targets.
* Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior leadership.
Consultative Selling and Market Expansion
* Guide the team in deeply understanding customer needs, challenges, and regulatory pain points to position our RegTech solutions effectively.
* Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders in the mid-market financial services space.
* Work closely with marketing and lead-generation teams to drive new business opportunities.
Cross-functional Collaboration and Competitive Intelligence
* Partner with product, marketing, and customer success teams to align sales strategies with company objectives.
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments to refine sales strategies and train the team accordingly.
What We’re Looking For:
* 5+ years of B2B sales experience, including at least 2 years in a people management role.
* Proven ability to lead, develop, and scale a successful mid-market sales team.
* Experience selling to financial services and a strong track record of closing mid-market deals.
* Strong understanding of compliance, risk management, and regulatory technology solutions (experience selling RegTech is ideal).
* Ability to understand customer pain points and coach a team to effectively align solutions to business needs.
* Proficiency with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales enablement platforms.
* Highly motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
