Mobile HGV Mechanic
Salary: GBP41,000.00 - GBP53,000.00 per annum
Additional Benefits:
Company profit-share bonus every 3 months of approximately GBP1,000.00
Hours of Work:
40 hours at GBP19.54 per hour and between 4 and 8 hours on average per week at GBP29.31 per hour.
Plus company van, mobile phone, and Sat-Nav.
Working hours are typically between 9:00 am and 8:30 pm.
You will be paid per hour from the moment you leave your home until you return.
One week's notice will be given for scheduled overtime, and we are looking for mechanics who are willing to take on overtime hours to meet business needs.
The role involves traveling throughout the North West and the Lake District areas.
Qualifications Required:
You must apply only if you have relevant Mechanical Qualifications such as City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and ideally a Class 1 licence.

Our client is a well-established company with over 70 years in operation, specializing in commercial vehicle rental. They have 6 rental depots with fully equipped, modern maintenance workshops across the North and South of England, operating more than 2000 vehicles (1000 of which are above 3.5 tons).
Key Responsibilities:
The Mobile HGV Technician will carry out inspections, routine servicing, testing, and repairs of HGV vehicles and their auxiliary equipment in a professional and safe manner. You will be skilled in investigating and diagnosing faults, reporting findings, and carrying out all repairs to current manufacturers' standards.
Desirable Skills:
* Knowledge of cranes/hydraulics and winching equipment
* Experience working on tippers, tipper grabs, and beaver tails
* Knowledge of the latest diagnostic systems
* Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) HGV License (Car License holders will also be considered)

Salary Breakdown:
* 40 hours at GBP19.54 per hour = GBP781.60 per week x 52 weeks = GBP40,643.20 per annum
Total Earnings = GBP40,643.20 per annum
+ Non-compulsory overtime available to boost your income:
* GBP29.31 x 4 hours per week = GBP117.24 x 52 weeks = GBP6096.48 per annum
OR
* GBP29.31 x 8 hours per week = GBP234.48 x 52 weeks = GBP12,192.96 per annum
Potential Earnings: GBP40,643.20 - GBP52,192.96 per annum
Additional overtime is sometimes available before 7:00 am & paid at double time = GBP39.08 per hour
