Role Purpose
Control all project management activity within the Program Management Project team including the development and maintenance of project business processes and documentation to comply with Corporate Project Management Best Practices, maintenance of action logs, level 1 plans, resource management and Risk and Opportunity management.

This opportunity, based at our Prestwick site offers:

Responsibilities
14. Develop and maintain accurate Development and / or Production Schedules and produce effective Resource Plans to support projects.
15. Support the introduction and maintenance of Project Management Best Practices across the project.
16. Assist Project Manager to create, and control the configuration of, all Project and functional level plans and activities during the non-recurring phase of new projects and major changes to existing projects.
17. Assist the Project Manager in the development, reporting and ongoing review of appropriate performance metrics. Ensure accurate reporting through the maintenance of topical KPIs.
18. Manage fluctuating project plans, in support of all program key projects, identifying all tasks and resources required to successfully complete the project, including the management of key stakeholders whilst driving the plan, escalating where required.
19. Maintain Customer reports and presentations including the co-ordination of information for major programme and plan reviews.
20. Be the Project point of contact with Finance and Commercial to support the Project Manager enable accurate reporting, monitor and control spend against Project budgets.
21. Co-ordination and review of reporting packs for all Customer monthly Program Reviews.
22. Consolidate and produce the monthly Program CSR input, co-facilitate the pre-CSR with the management Team and, when required, produce the final pack and attend reviews.
23. Manage the Opportunities and Risk process at Corporate and local level, including, managing interfaces with US and compliance.
24. Develop a Lessons Learned matrix post completion of the project with input from Multi Functional Team and present finding to Business Unit senior management team.
25. Maintain and develop (where applicable) ‘standard templates’ for reporting and presenting.
26. Provide guidance, advice and assistance to colleagues on a regular basis. Support the Management Team on an as required basis with topical and accurate information / packs.
27. Manage stakeholder calls and management of action item logs.
28. Co-ordinate business cases and supporting evidence to ensure project requirements can be presented for funding.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
29. +5 years experience in a senior role
30. Good understanding of program planning principles and strategic drivers
31. Strong project management skills to drive multi disciplines to support deliverables
32. Strong financial and analytical skills
33. Ability to lead projects and delegate/manage tasks
34. Management and understanding of local and corporate processes
35. Good written and communication skills
36. Ability to communicate across management levels on a global basis
37. Confident in understanding other functions and challenging data where appropriate
38. Strong people skills / ability to manage others as applicable
Decision Making Authority
39. Authority to make day to day medium terms decisions.
40. Authority to control/input and manage Opportunity & Risk on behalf of manager.
41. Authority to interpret and report data in a manner of different ways for various global inputs to management and finance.
42. Authority to make recommendations to Senior Management on output of various analysis and determine corrective actions required if applicable.
