The Role
Join an Advanced Tech division working on racing series projects. Develop and optimize powertrain control software to enhance performance, fuel efficiency, and drivability across SiL, HiL, rig, dyno, and vehicle platforms.
Key Responsibilities
1. Develop & test powertrain control systems using MATLAB/Simulink, C/C++
2. Specify & validate engine & hybrid powertrain software
3. Optimize calibration, diagnostics, & failure containment
4. Utilize tools like CANape, CANalyzer, WinDarab, RaceCon
Skills & Experience Essential:
1. Degree (2:1+) in Software, Engineering, or related discipline
2. Experience in model-based development (Simulink/Stateflow)
3. Knowledge of internal combustion & hybrid powertrains
4. Understanding of automotive protocols (CAN, Ethernet)
Desirable:
1. 3+ years' experience in automotive software development
2. Chartered Engineer status
