Have you got experience within an Accounts or Purchase Ledger role and are looking for a new opportunity to work for a great company?
We are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a company in Colchester on a full-time, permanent basis. This is a fully office-based role, with free parking. Please note you must be able to drive due to the location of the office.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
1. Answering telephone and email enquiries regarding issues with invoices or refunds.
2. Processing invoices and payments onto the accounts ledger and chasing outstanding invoices.
3. Matching and uploading POD's.
4. Setting up new accounts and maintaining existing account details on the accounting system.
5. Coding and inputting invoices, ensuring all details are correct.
6. Assisting with month-end duties.
7. Statements check and reconciliation.
8. Completing statement checks and reconciliations.
Hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm and the salary is £26k - £28k Per Annum (DOE).
To be successful in this position, you must have:
* Previous experience in a Purchase Ledger role.
* Excellent communication and organisation skills.
* High attention to detail.
* The ability to multitask and prioritise workload to meet deadlines.
* IT literacy with intermediate Excel skills. Use of Sage would be desirable.
