Job Title : Band 3- Radiography Assistant- Leeds Banding : Band 3 Location : Leeds Start: ASAP Duration : Ongoing Rate : £ 13 - £ 14 Working hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00pm We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Radiography Assistant to join our team in Leeds. This role involves working in a dynamic clinical environment where you will be responsible for supporting radiographers in the preparation and performance of radiographic procedures. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the radiology department and providing high-quality patient care. What will your responsibilities be : In this role, you will be responsible for preparing patients for radiographic examinations, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process. You will assist in the operation of radiographic equipment, maintain and organize examination rooms, and ensure that all necessary equipment and supplies are available. You will also help radiographers during procedures, monitor patients' conditions, and report any abnormal signs to the supervising radiographer. Your duties will include maintaining accurate records of procedures performed and implementing radiation protection and safety standards to minimize exposure to staff and patients. Qualifications and Experiences: Completion of a radiologic technology program State licensure and certification in Radiography Proven experience as a Radiography Assistant or similar role Knowledge of radiology safety procedures and protocols Excellent patient care skills Good physical condition and stamina Excellent communication skills Basic computer skills Why work with Pulse?
