Main duties of the job
This will be an interesting and varied role for a skilled Assistant Practice Manager who would enjoy working in a small but busy GP practice. Therole responsibilities require a methodical, level headed approach who iscomfortable working to multiple demands and priorities. The post holder willreport to the Practice manager and will interact with staff, patients andsupport staff on a daily basis. The ideal candidate should have excellentinterpersonal skills and be willing to support the whole have GP practice experiance .

Job responsibilities
Provide high level administrative support to the Practice manager
To liaise with Emis support and the registration authority for IT
Use Emis clinical system to run searches and reports to complete QOF andGP premium, take part in practice performance related to recalls for patients.
To supply admin support for safeguarding for children and adults withthe lead clinician
To provide and maintain information required for public health targets.This will include data checking and liaising with the clinical team to improveperformance.
To maintain the appointment system and set up templates in order to doso.
Organise staff training sessions and book staff onto courses
Interrogate data for audit purposes.
Managing Complaints
Managing staff and room rotas when practice manager not available
Attending PCN and ICB meetings on behalf of the practice when themanager is not available
Helping the practice managerPrepare for CQC inspection
Any other appropriate duties as required by the Practice manager

1. At least two years experience working in an GP Practice administrative role

5. Experience of CQRS and Open Exeter preferred but not essential
