MEICA Project Manager (301jc) – Kilmarnock - £50 -55k + Car + Benefits
Our client specializes in installing all types of mechanical plants for the Water industry across the UK. They offer services including water & wastewater treatment, including design, fabrication, site installation, and testing.

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a MEICA (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation) Project Manager, who will be part of the Project Delivery team responsible for delivering a number of projects in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and coordinate MEICA projects from initiation to completion.
2. Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
3. Ensure resource availability and allocation.
4. Develop a detailed project plan to track progress.
5. Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques.
6. Report and escalate to management as needed.
7. Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
8. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
9. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Proven working experience as a project manager in the water sector, specifically in MEICA.
2. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
4. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
5. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
6. Knowledge of NEC contracts.
7. Relevant H&S Regulations and Safe Systems of Work.
8. Relevant Engineering Experience: Solid background in engineering, preferably in the water sector.
9. Recognized Practical Qualifications or Relevant Training in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, instrumentation, control, and automation.
10. Water Industry Experience: Experience in the water industry is crucial for understanding the unique challenges and requirements of this sector.
11. Knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical Components and Equipment.
12. Maturity and Practicality: Ability to make sound decisions based on practical considerations.
13. Good Health and Level of General Fitness.
14. A Full Clean Car Driving License.
In return they are offering an excellent package of £50 – 55k, company car, Life Assurance and Health Care benefits, up to 25 days holiday + Bank Holidays, company pension, ongoing career development, and progression within the company.
