Main duties of the job Since March 2024, we have transitioned to a nine-consultant rota to ensure compliance with CNST recommendations. Currently, the team comprises 8.0 WTE substantive consultants and one locum consultant. This substantive post is intended to replace the locum position. The appointed consultant will join an established team of eight neonatologists at the Oliver Fisher Neonatal Unit, Medway Maritime Hospital. As a fully accredited tertiary neonatal referral centre, the unit is supported by a comprehensive multidisciplinary team and operates within the Kent, Surrey, and Sussex (KSS) Operational Delivery Network.
