What you will be doing:
Your job will focus on your ability to take a positive and proactive approach to partner with various business units to develop, deliver and support innovative solutions to the business.
Working within a diverse team to lead business change projects, you will be responsible for the design of technical and non-technical solutions, enabling and facilitating positive change within the business. The Business Analysis team sits within the wider Group Change function and is a key contributor to the successful change delivery across the Firm.
The Business Analyst’s remit is to take ownership and responsibility for eliciting, documenting and managing ambiguous and often contradictory business requirements; owning the business requirement management process from inception through construction, test and transition back into the business.
The Business Analyst is primarily a business-facing role and so both strong technical and ‘soft’ skills are essential; as is the ability to adapt quickly to changing requirements and fluid scope.
* Developing a strong understanding of how the business and legal teams operate to understand how things can be changed to make a positive difference
* Serving as the conduit between the business stakeholder community (internal and external), the internal or supplier led development teams
* Acting as a product owner, writing user stories and defining acceptance criteria, maintaining story boards to prioritise the backlog for the development teams
* Leading requirement workshops as necessary, ensuring that all aspects of the problem domain are within scope, complete, and deliverable
* Proactively communicating and collaborating with external and internal stakeholders
What you will need:
* Demonstrable experience in a business analysis role
* Stakeholder management – experience working with a variety of senior stakeholders
* To be familiar with working in an agile development environment and developing / maintaining user stories
* An analytical approach to problem solving, combined with a creative flair and commercial awareness
