Job Title: Regional Account Manager, Scotland Salary: £34,000 - £44,000 Commission Location: Scotland Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours Your role and responsibilities Antech Diagnostics are searching for a motivated and driven Regional Account Manager to join our UK sales team. You will be instrumental in our divisions growth with a focus on selling the Antech product portfolio within your assigned territory across Scotland and creating new business opportunities by converting customers to Antech Diagnostics. This is an excellent opportunity for a tenacious self-starter who brings a proven background within the sales of capital equipment and is looking for growth and career progression. This position is based in Scotland and although you will be predominantly home based it does require travel, having a full, clean driving licence is essential. Key responsibilities and attributes include: Conduct new business sales calls to convert accounts over to Antech point of care equipment and reference laboratories Identify areas of opportunity for the surgery in terms of enhanced work flow, increased diagnostic offering, reduced turn-around time, improved ROI, enhanced test portfolio Change management through a thorough onboarding process and partnering with the Antech internal account managers Provide an active target list which can be converted into pipeline Work with both Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Salesforce Implement quarterly sales plan to achieve sales goals and objectives. Fiscally manage territory by controlling expenses, contract and new business activity Build and maintain relationships with referral sources to establish a solid base of new business opportunities. Ability to research and use analytics to provide the optimal customer experience Assist in establishing the company as the leader in animal Reference Lab and POC diagnostics services and veterinary practice solutions. Coordinate daily support activities and customer activities at meetings as assigned. Complete administrative duties as required. Identify, target and acquire new business opportunities. Negotiate and implement contractual relationships. Utilize approved sales collateral to support promotional and territorial needs. Partner with cross-functional teams and internal resources to co-promote additional Antech services and products. Experience required: 3 years of outside field sales experience Previous experience selling capital equipment preferably in Animal Healthcare, Human Healthcare or Pharmaceutical Sales Qualified Veterinary Nurse with a minimum 1 years experience working within a Veterinary Practice or a Degree (Animal Health, Biological Sciences or Lab Sciences) Demonstrable success in previous employment indicated by leading performer with a track record of prospecting, pre-call planning and closing deals. Ability to close new business within a short sales cycles Ability to execute sales strategies in a complex, multi-faceted environment Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Ability to differentiate core layers of business to separate Antech Diagnostics from competitors Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation skills; team oriented; conceptual/consultative sales skills.
