MacGregor Black is partnering with an innovative, Premium Wine Producer to recruit a Sales Director. This is a permanent role, with regular time required at the company’s Head Office in London.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and market share in both the On & Off Premise.
* Identify and secure new business opportunities, expand distribution channels, and build strong relationships with key partners.
* Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
* Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new opportunities for growth in both domestic and international markets.
* Strengthen brand positioning within the market and ensure consistent brand messaging across all sales channels.
* Oversee sales budgets, forecasts, and financial performance to ensure profitability and alignment with business goals.
* Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers.
What Were Looking For?
* Proven experience in a senior sales role, preferably within the wine or broader beverage industry.
* Further qualifications in Wine (WSET, etc.), highly beneficial.
* Deep understanding of Drinks industry trends, market dynamics, and consumer behaviour.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
* Keen, energetic and driven attitude, with a Lead-from-the-Front mentality.
* Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans.
* Passion for premium products and a commitment to excellence.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
