QUALIFICATIONS: A Geography Degree
An excellent Secondary school based in Cheshunt in Hertfordshire is currently seeking an Unqualified Geography Teacher to join their team. This role is a perfect opportunity for graduates who have previous Teaching Assistant or tutoring experience. We are looking for individuals aspiring to become Secondary School Teachers or who would like to gain classroom experience.
You will be delivering Geography lessons to KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to teach KS5. You will be confident in delivering the Geography curriculum, have classroom and behaviour management skills, and will be happy to deliver lessons to classes of pupils.

PERSON SPECIFICATION – Unqualified Geography Teacher
1. Strong academics across the board (Degree, A levels, GCSEs)
2. Geography Degree is preferred
3. Experience of working with children as a TA / cover supervisor / Tutor
4. Previous classroom experience / tutoring experience is desirable
5. A passion to work with children
6. Excellent communication skills
7. Confident and able to lead a whole class of pupils
8. Experience with teaching classes is desirable
9. Behaviour management experience is also advantageous
