The Project
As a highly experienced Sales Estimator, you will be required to play a key role overseeing various commercial & residential fabrication & installation projects based in Watford, London. You will be accurately assessing client requirements, preparing detailed cost estimates and providing timely quotations. You will collaborate with project managers, production teams, and suppliers to ensure efficient project execution.
Requirements
It is essential that you hold the experience below;
1. Previous experience in a B2B window company or manufacturer
2. Extensive background within the industry with at least 3 years of experience working as a Sales Estimator
3. A demonstrated track record of working on a diverse range of projects including commercial and residential fabrication and installation projects
Additional skills;
1. Ability to negotiate effectively
2. Strategic and analytical thinking
3. Strong communication and attention to detail
4. Familiar with office equipment including printers and copiers
5. Proficient utilization in Window Designer and/or Logikal software is highly desirable
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders

Reporting to: Marketing Manager / Director
Duties
1. Lead showroom tours for potential clients
2. Update pricing databases and ensure accuracy
3. Oversee the main sales inbox, ensuring prompt responses
4. Discuss project details, budgets, and timelines with customers
5. Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
6. Develop accurate cost estimates for products, materials, and labor
7. Keep informed about market prices, materials, and new technologies
8. Adapt estimating techniques to align with evolving industry standards
9. Identify materials, measurements, and timeframes required for the job
10. Identify potential new business opportunities during client interactions
11. Keep records of estimates, quotes, and project details for future reference
12. Support the sales team by providing competitive pricing and strategic input
13. Handle incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries in a timely manner
14. Review blueprints, drawings, and project requirements to determine scope and pricing
15. Provide support for technical inquiries by delivering accurate information and solutions
16. Coordinate with sales, production, and procurement teams to align estimates with company capabilities
17. Create estimates for windows, doors, and associated products using Window Designer and Logikal software
18. Act as the main point of contact for delayed projects, communicating with customers and coordinating with production teams and suppliers
19. Manage key customer accounts, overseeing quotations, order processing, accessories, and service-related matters
