Then reach out! Kingston Barnes is now recruiting an exciting position for a EC&I Technician for one of our clients working within the Avonmouth area.
The Company:
A well established and successful company who has multiple process plants that promote sustainability around the UK. Due to consistent success over the last few years this company is looking to grow their team.
The Role:
This individual will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of all control and instrumentation equipment across the plant. You will be set daily and weekly KPI’s which you will have to achieve whilst ensure the smooth process of the plant. The C&I Technician will assist in the co-ordination of contractors as required, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
Requirements:
* Experience in EC&I engineering with process / manufacturing industry. – Chemical, Water, Power
* Instrumentation knowledge is essential, however both instrumentation and electrical is key
* City & Guilds / NVQ 3 / HNC (or equivalent) in relevant Engineering discipline
* Experience working with Computerised Maintenance Management systems.
* DCS/SCADA experience.
* Fully conversant with instrument loop drawing and P&IDs
* Able to think logically and solve problems effectively and efficiently.
* Formal electrical qualification which qualifies as multi-skilled, along with 18th edition, IEE wiring regulations would be beneficial
