Wilson Sonsini has an immediate opening for a motivated administrative professional to join the London office as an Administrative Assistant. This position will provide essential administrative resources for attorneys and executive assistants across our London office.

This role is therefore available as a hybrid work schedule (initially four days in office, one day virtual). Core hours for this role are [9am – 5pm / 9:30am – 5:30pm].
Typical tasks include, but are not limited to:
1. Document production and editing: Word, PowerPoint, Excel (creating, revising, editing)
2. Assist in the coordination and planning of meetings and travel arrangements
3. Time entry support
4. Basic travel management
5. Maintain business development data / client relationship management database (Salesforce)
6. Process expense submissions on behalf of attorneys (Chrome River)
7. Upload office invoices to accounts payable database (Chrome River)
8. Manage contact information for practice group, clients, and vendors
9. Maintain attorneys’ memberships in bar associations and professional organizations, including CPD/MCLE credits and dues
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
10. 2+ years of relevant administrative experience in a law firm or professional services environment, preferred
11. Display well-developed and professional interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with employees at all organizational levels of the firm
12. Demonstrate the ability to take initiative and work both independently and in a team environment with a customer service focus
13. Possess the ability to work with staff and manage attorney expectations, as well as the ability to handle confidential, sensitive, and proprietary information with appropriate discretion
14. Demonstrate high attention to detail, outstanding organizational skills, and the ability to manage time effectively
15. Ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks, and produce accurate work product in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
16. Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, initiative, good judgment, and excellent follow-up skills
17. Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with a professional demeanor
18. Must be a self-starter who can work independently with minimal supervision
19. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and collaborate well in a team setting
