We are seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to lead health, safety, environmental, and quality (SHEQ) initiatives within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe workplace, ensuring regulatory compliance, and driving continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have a NEBOSH Diploma and significant experience in a manufacturing setting. Key Responsibilities Ensure a safe and well-organised work environment, reducing risks and maintaining high H&S standards. Manage and develop the SHEQ Officer (1 x direct report) and SHEQ BSi systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards. Oversee quality control processes, laboratory facilities, and compliance with relevant certifications. Support product and process development, ensuring smooth transitions from pilot to full-scale production. Maintain effective communication with senior management, reporting on SHEQ performance and improvement plans. Skills and Experience: Proven experience in lead SHEQ role for a Processing /Manufacturing site such as Chemicals, Food, Pharmaceuticals or similar. Strong knowledge of ISO standards - ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 HACCP experience desirable COMAH site experience desirable Strong communication skills Location - Glossop Salary - circa £50k - £55k (dependent on experience).
